I acted as an event organizer, network coordinator, and representative for the Student Game Developers Alliance (SGDA), a partnership of university game development clubs across the United States of America (And sometimes beyond!)
As an organizer and coordinator, I’ve networked with the leadership of clubs across the USA to collaborate with them and share SGDA resources. I’ve also helped organize workshops on a variety of game development topics and the SGDA Summit, an annual two-day games conference with speaker panels, workshops, and a student games showcase.

I acted as the president of the University of Maryland’s Game Developers Club, a space where we helped students immerse themselves in game development in a fun and relaxed environment!
As president, I led various game development workshops on game design and the Unity engine, organized various community events and professional talks, and established our bi-annual game jam! This game jam includes an open student showcase at the Parren J. Mitchell Art-Sociology Building.

I have led game development workshops at BitCamp, a massive annual hackathon which is all about exploring ideas through new technology. As part of my work with the BitCamp team, I helped to establish Game Development as a permanent track for all future BitCamp hackathons!
Technica

I have led multiple game development workshops at Technica, the world’s largest hackathon for underrepresented genders in tech. I was asked to join because game development projects is a common request from attendees, but many weren’t sure where to start! Here, I would usually lead introductory workshops on Unity development.
